This page is provided by The Association of Hugs (Hali-yhdistys). Formerly this page was located in the university of Tampere, Finland. Since Sebtember 1998 it has been located under TRIPOD's pages. At this moment our president (1994-1998) is Marko Salonen. He is most commonly called The Grand.

Some of our basic ideas about hugging come from social psychology (human interaction) and so it is no surprise that The Grand also is also a social psychologist (Master's degree in social science).

Hugging does include tips of positive thinking. Anyhow, hugs can be added to any possible thinking, philosophy and religion. To understand this point you must realize that hugging can never be the purpose of life but it is always an efficient force to cheer up your life and its purposes.
